we needed a break from the city, so we went to palm springs.

We had a bucket of beers waiting for us when we arrived. And with the poolside hammocks, outdoor fireplaces, and amazing brunch options, we were the happiest of campers. Even the little guy was loving the cool, comfy, bedouin-style room. Aren’t spontaneous getaways the best kind?

today it took me 2 1/2 hours (!!!) to get home from work today. INSANITY.

so to redeem the night, we went out for margs. I wore gray, lots of it.

I just love commitment-free weekends.

mostly because we can do spontaneous things like this.

and I can now check ‘kayaking in the Back Bay’ off my 101 in 1,001 list.
